Marriage Retreats Available
Do you want to rekindle that spark for your spouse that may be flickering or would you just like to spend some quality time away from the bustle of weekend chores to refocus and reenergize your partnership? St. Monica Parishioners who are married or engaged are invited to participate in a marriage retreat this spring. Two opportunities are available. The first opportunity is a retreat offered by our own pastor, Fr. Todd Goodson, beginning on Friday evening, April 16, and continuing during the day of April 17. This retreat will take place at Washington Park Cemetery Family Room. The cost is minimal, only $10 and a dish to share. Use the following form to register. Please return it to the St. Monica office.
A second opportunity is available at Our Lady of Fatima Retreat Center on east 56th street. Worldwide Marriage Encounter, an organization which has been active for over ten years, is offering a retreat on the weekend of April 23 through April 25. This group boasts of being “one of the most successful and dynamic marriage enrichments in the world today”.
